Vijay’s Son Jason Sanjay’s ‘Sigma’ Cleared With U/A Certificate Ahead of October 2 Release

Producer GKM Tamil Kumaran announced the certification on X, sharing a poster from the film and writing, “#Sigma is all set to ignite the screens. 🔥 See U/And your family in theatres on Oct 2.”

The certification comes as the film prepares for its worldwide release on October 2. *Sigma* marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil actor-turned-politician Vijay, and is backed by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner.

The makers recently unveiled the film's trailer, offering a glimpse into its mix of action, adventure, heist elements and comedy. Sundeep Kishan plays the protagonist, whose life takes a dramatic turn after he is betrayed. Rather than allowing the setback to define him, he sets out to reclaim what he has lost.

At the heart of the story is a massive ₹500-crore operation involving drugs and gambling, drawing the protagonist into a dangerous world of crime, deception and revenge. The trailer also introduces his romantic track with Sam, an RJ played by Faria Abdullah.

The protagonist subsequently teams up with his friends to execute an ambitious heist. Their plans, however, are thrown into disarray after they encounter Reddy, played by Sampath Raj. The setback forces the protagonist to regroup and return with renewed determination to complete his mission.

The trailer suggests that *Sigma* will combine high-energy action and adventure with humour and emotional elements. Alongside Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah, the cast includes Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Pandit, Anbu Thasan and Yog Japee in key roles.

Mythri Movie Distributors Ltd is handling the film's release across Coastal Andhra and Telangana, while NVR Cinema is distributing the film in the Ceded region.

On the technical front, *Sigma* features cinematography by Krishnan Vasant, with music composed by S Thaman. National Award-winning editor K L Praveen is handling the editing.
