Sylvester Stallone Praises Future Son-in-Law Michael Sheehan: ‘Great Man, Great Fiancé’

The 80-year-old actor recently appeared on *The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon*, where he opened up about Sophia’s engagement and admitted that the milestone brings a mix of emotions.

“She did get enga**,” Stallone began before gathering his words and continuing, “It’s hard for me to say it because, like, it’s time to have a, you know, new life of her own. But she found a great man, great fiance, Michael.”

Host Jimmy Fallon noted that dating one of Stallone’s daughters must be “tough” and potentially intimidating for anyone entering the family.

“Yeah, a little bit,” Stallone replied.

However, Sheehan appears to have won over the action star. Stallone said he likes his future son-in-law “very, very much” and described him as someone who has impressed him.

“I think he’s a stand-up guy, great, good-looking, got everything going,” he told Fallon.

Stallone then recalled a humorous incident involving a friend whose daughter was dating a man he did not approve of. The actor said the friend once asked him to intervene.

“I remember once, there was a very famous man. He did not like the guy his daughter was dating. Said, ‘Could you do something?’” Stallone recalled.

He said he went home, put together his full *Rambo*-style look, complete with a headband, fake blood, knife and bandolero, before showing up at the young man’s door.

“So he knocks at the door, and he’s like this little comedian-type guy, got the hat on sideways. And I go, ‘What do you want?’ He goes, ‘If you touch her, it’s like touching me, and I will cut you from here to here,’” Stallone said, gesturing from the top of his head down towards his midsection.

“Like, that was it. He never came back,” he added.

Stallone shares daughters Sophia, 30, Sistine, 28, and Scarlet, 24, with his wife Jennifer Flavin. He also has a son, Seargeoh, 47, with his former wife Sasha Czack. Their son Sage Stallone died in 2012 at the age of 36.

Sophia Stallone and Michael Sheehan recently announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post, marking the beginning of the next chapter in their relationship and in the Stallone family.
