Angad Bedi Remembers Father Bishan Singh Bedi on Death Anniversary, Reveals Emotional Cologne Confession

Taking to Instagram, Angad recalled childhood memories of running alongside his father and revealed that he went for a run in his memory on October 23.

In his emotional note, the actor quoted his father's words: “Bhaagte-bhaagte..jaagte rehna.. jaagte-jaagte..bhaagte rehna.” He said the run brought back memories of his father running beside him when he was just six years old.

The Tiger Zinda Hai actor then shared a personal confession, revealing that he had taken his father's favourite cologne from his drawer during his last visit home and was wearing it on the anniversary.

“Don't know how to say this but... I have a confession to make... I stole your favourite cologne from your drawer on my last visit home... Wearing it today,” Angad wrote.

Expressing how deeply he missed his father, the actor added, “I Miss your smell.. Always be in chardikala.”

Alongside the note, Angad shared a throwback video featuring Bishan Singh Bedi sitting and recounting an anecdote while his son listened and recorded the moment. The video offered a glimpse into their personal bond and the memories the actor continues to cherish.

Bishan Singh Bedi passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 77. One of India's most celebrated left-arm spin bowlers, he represented the country in 67 Test matches and earned recognition as one of the finest spinners in Indian cricket.

Angad has frequently spoken about his close relationship with his father and continues to remember him through social media posts reflecting on their shared experiences, his father's influence and the values he passed on to his family.
