Romiit Raaj Recalls Rupali Ganguly’s Warm Welcome, Says She Invited Him to Lunch With Anupamaa Team

Romiit, who joined the show in September 2026 as Ranvijay “RV” Sood, said he particularly enjoyed the close-knit atmosphere among the cast and crew. He recalled how Rupali invited him to join the entire team for lunch, describing the shared meals as an example of the camaraderie that exists behind the scenes.

“Everyone sits together, eats together, talks, laughs and shares those little moments. On a show that works such long hours, having that sense of togetherness makes the workplace feel like a real family,” he said.

The actor, known for his work in *Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi...Let's Go*, said he was struck by the way the *Anupamaa* team spends time together beyond their work on the show.

“I genuinely enjoyed watching the entire cast together, chilling, laughing, sharing funny incidents and just having a great time with each other. There is such a lovely camaraderie between everyone, and I absolutely loved being around that energy,” Romiit said.

Speaking about Rupali, Romiit said he had long admired her work and found the opportunity to share screen space with her particularly rewarding.

“I have always admired Rupali Ganguly’s work, and getting the opportunity to share screen space with her has been a fabulous experience. She is an extremely talented actor, and I am genuinely enjoying working with her,” he said.

Romiit also looked back at his first day on the show, saying the cast made an effort to ensure he felt at ease from the beginning.

“The Anupamaa Parivaar is super fun, there is so much madness, laughter and positive energy on the set. On my very first day, everyone welcomed me so warmly that I immediately felt comfortable,” he recalled.

The actor also credited the show's directors with helping him develop his portrayal of Ranvijay.
