Meenakshi Chaudhary Reportedly in Talks to Play Female Lead Opposite Nani in ‘Bloody Romeo’

According to industry buzz, the makers are in discussions with Meenakshi for the role. However, there has been no official confirmation from the film’s team regarding her casting so far.

*Bloody Romeo* is being produced by Venkat Boyanapalli’s Niharika Entertainment in association with Unanimous Productions. The project marks the first collaboration between Nani and filmmaker Sujeeth, who is known for directing Pawan Kalyan-starrer *They Call Him OG*.

The title of *Bloody Romeo* was unveiled earlier this year on Nani’s birthday through a stylised comic-noir glimpse. The promo established a visually striking world dominated by deep purples and blood-red tones, hinting at an action-driven story with a distinctive aesthetic.

The title glimpse introduces Nani’s character in a kitchen, initially creating the impression that he is preparing a dish. However, Vennela Kishore’s voiceover gradually reveals that the references to ingredients are actually metaphors for the protagonist’s violent nature.

Phrases such as “a pinch of mercy”, “a fistful of anger” and “a handful of brutality” are used to describe the character’s temperament, turning the cooking imagery into a metaphor for his approach to crime.

The sequence culminates with a pressure cooker exploding inside the “Gangster’s Den”, after which Nani’s character emerges from the destruction.

Rather than presenting him as a conventional action hero, the glimpse suggests a protagonist who is witty, controlled and calculated, while possessing a dangerous side.

With the film still in production, details about the story and Meenakshi’s reported involvement remain under wraps. An official announcement regarding the female lead is awaited.
