Actress and content creator Kusha Kapila has praised veteran actress Sheeba Chaddha, describing her experience of working alongside the seasoned performer in the upcoming Instagram series.
Ahead of the series’ release, Kusha spoke about the significance of the project and the opportunity to share the screen with Chaddha, highlighting the veteran actor’s ability to bring emotional depth and authenticity to her performances.
“Working on Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe has been a meaningful journey and an important milestone as I explore this storytelling format on Instagram. Collaborating with an actor of Sheeba ji's caliber is a masterclass in itself; sharing screen space with someone with her expanse of experience and watching her bring authenticity and emotional depth to every single frame has elevated this project,” Kusha said.
She added that the series holds a special place for the team because of its focus on the unexpected relationships that can emerge during difficult phases of life.
“This series is close to our hearts because it explores how two women, caught in the middle of their own chaos, can become anchors for each other. It's a story about finding your way back to yourself through the most unexpected connections,” she added.
With *Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe*, Kusha is experimenting with a new storytelling format through an Instagram-based series. The project marks the first Instagram offering from her brand Underneat and has been produced by Tulsea and Versis Entertainment.
The 14-episode series explores themes of human connection, healing and self-discovery. A Tulsea Original, it has been created and written by Namrata Wadhwani and directed by Raashi Priya Nahata. Tulsea and Versis Entertainment have produced the project, with Moonwalk Motion Pictures serving as executive producer.
The story centres on an unusual pen-pal relationship between two women who are each navigating their own emotional struggles. The narrative begins when one of them writes a letter to an old friend, only for it to accidentally reach the tenant who currently lives at the address.
The project continues Kusha’s exploration of character-driven storytelling. Before *Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe*, she appeared in the YouTube short film *Vyarth*, which examined the issue of typecasting in the entertainment industry through the story of an underrated actress named Bhumi.
Her experience with the short film allowed her to explore more emotionally grounded and character-focused storytelling, an approach she now brings to her upcoming Instagram series.
With its focus on two women finding an unexpected source of support in one another, *Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe* marks another step in Kusha’s evolution as a storyteller while bringing her together with an established performer such as Sheeba Chaddha.
