Anil Kapoor Remembers Lata Mangeshkar, Says He Feels ‘Blessed’ She Was Part of His Journey

Sharing a photograph of the iconic singer on social media, the *Animal* actor reflected on the lasting impact of her voice and the memories associated with her music.

“Lata ji's voice has accompanied generations, and I feel blessed that it also became a part of my own journey. Remembering her, her music and all those beautiful memories on her birthday,” Anil wrote.

Several other names from the music and entertainment industry also paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, remembering her extraordinary contribution to Indian music.

Singer Kumar Sanu shared an emotional note, recalling the privilege of growing up listening to Lata and later having the opportunity to sing alongside her.

“Lata Didi… your voice touched every soul and gave meaning to emotions beyond words. I feel blessed to have grown up listening to you, learning from you and having had the honour of singing alongside you. Sharing the same musical era and being able to lend my voice to songs with you is a memory I will cherish forever,” he wrote.

Singer Roop Kumar Rathod also remembered the legendary vocalist, describing her voice as something that transcended music and became an emotion for generations.

The Bharat Ratna recipient died on February 6, 2022, at the age of 92. Her voice and musical legacy continue to resonate across generations of listeners and artists.
