Adivi Sesh Says Women’s Safety Must Be Part of Everyday Conversations

Speaking about the importance of creating safer environments, Adivi said women’s safety should not become a concern only after an incident occurs, but must remain part of regular conversations and social interactions.

“Women’s safety is not something that can be addressed only when an incident happens. It needs to be a part of our everyday conversations and the way we conduct ourselves. Each of us has a role to play in creating an environment where women feel respected, heard and safe,” he said.

The actor also highlighted the responsibility of men, particularly those who have a public platform or influence, to speak out against inappropriate behaviour and ensure that equality is reflected through their actions.

“As men, especially those with a public platform, we should be willing to speak up, challenge behaviour that is not right and make sure that equality is reflected in our actions, not just our words,” Adivi said.

He further emphasised that safe environments should allow everyone to feel valued and comfortable enough to raise their concerns.

“A safe workplace and a safe society are spaces where everyone feels respected, valued and comfortable speaking up,” he added.

Adivi thanked the Hyderabad Police for initiating the conversation around women’s safety and said he was glad to contribute to the cause through his public platform.

“I’m glad to extend my support to this important cause and would like to thank the Hyderabad Police for taking this initiative and giving me the opportunity to be a part of the conversation and contribute in whatever way I can,” he said.

Through his association with the Hyderabad Police, the actor is encouraging greater awareness around women’s safety and the collective responsibility involved in creating respectful and inclusive spaces.

Adivi was last seen in *Dacoit*, which also stars Mrunal Thakur, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan and Kamakshi Bhaskarla, among others.

The film follows an angry convict who sets out to seek revenge on his former girlfriend after she betrays him. As he develops a dangerous plan to trap her, the story unfolds as an emotionally charged tale involving love, betrayal and vengeance.
