Aamrapali Dubey Addresses Nirahua Dating Rumours: ‘He Always Asks Me to Get Married’

Bhojpuri actress Aamrapali Dubey has opened up about her close friendship with actor and Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua, while addressing years of speculation that the two are romantically involved.

During a conversation with fellow Bigg Boss 20 contestant Luv Gill, Aamrapali spoke about the bond she shares with Dinesh and explained why their close friendship has often led people to assume that they are dating.

Recalling their equation, Aamrapali said Dinesh has been her best friend since she entered the Bhojpuri film industry. She described their relationship as a “no-filter friendship”, saying they often understand each other without needing to say anything.

“When I came to the Bhojpuri industry, my best friend was Dinesh ji. Till today, I mean, if there are eight people in this room. I have to say something to these eight people. So I don't need to say anything to Dinesh ji. I will just look at him. He will know what I want to say and he will start laughing,” she said.

The actress then addressed the persistent rumours that she and Nirahua are a couple. According to Aamrapali, Dinesh himself frequently encourages her to find someone and get married.

“People think that Dinesh ji and I are dating. Poor Dinesh ji has gone crazy by confessing that I should marry someone in my life,” she said.

Aamrapali also explained why she believes marriage can appear much simpler to men than it is for women, particularly when it involves leaving behind a life and relationships built over many years.

“Actually, people think that marriage is so easy. They don't understand that we (girls) will have to leave everything which has been made for so many years. So boys find this word very easy - ‘Get married,’” she added.

Aamrapali and Nirahua have been among the most recognised on-screen pairs in Bhojpuri cinema since working together in *Nirahua Hindustani* in 2014. The film marked Aamrapali's debut in Bhojpuri cinema after she had appeared in Hindi television shows including *Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar*, *Maayka* and *Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein*.

Their pairing went on to become popular with audiences, leading to several collaborations including *Patna Se Pakistan*, *Nirahua Rickshawala 2*, *Raja Babu*, *Nirahua Hindustani 2*, *Nirahua Hindustani 3*, *Nirahua Chalal London* and *Sher Singh*.

Aamrapali has previously spoken about how Nirahua was also instrumental in her entry into Bhojpuri cinema. During her time on *Bigg Boss 20*, she recalled that Dinesh was looking for a new face for *Nirahua Hindustani* while he was a contestant on *Bigg Boss 6*.

Aamrapali had previously worked with Santosh Shukla, who was also part of that season of the reality show. The eventual chain of events led her to the Bhojpuri film, a journey she described as “God's screenplay.”
