A firing incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area has raised security concerns, with an audio clip subsequently surfacing in which a man claims links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
According to reports, gunmen opened fire at the actor’s vehicle, injuring his driver. Reports also said a nearby autorickshaw driver was caught in the firing.
The audio clip features a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit, who allegedly claims responsibility for the attack and issues threats against people in Bollywood associated with actor Salman Khan. However, the recording's authenticity and its claimed link to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have not been independently verified.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met Tiger Shroff following the incident and assured him of the government’s support. He stressed that authorities are responsible for ensuring security, whether the person concerned is a celebrity or an ordinary citizen.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police are investigating the firing and pursuing the unidentified shooters. The circumstances surrounding the attack, the identity of those responsible and the possible motive remain under investigation.
With the audio clip adding another dimension to the case, investigators will need to establish whether the claims made in the recording are credible and whether they have any connection to the shooting.
