Shatrughan Sinha Reacts to Firing Incident Involving Tiger Shroff, Says Actor Was Lucky to Escape Unhurt

Reacting to the incident in a post on X, Sinha questioned the attacks and threats reportedly targeting the actor, who is the son of veteran actor Jackie Shroff.

“What's happening???? Yesterday's shocking, worrying attacks, threats, targeting & firing on most loved star @TIGERSHROFF worthy son of the most worthy father @bindasbhidu. In fact Tiger was lucky to go unhurt, but his poor driver was injured badly,” Sinha wrote.

The reaction follows an incident on October 18, when two unidentified assailants allegedly opened multiple rounds of fire at Tiger’s BMW in Mumbai.

According to the FIR accessed by IANS, the actor was returning after playing football when the attackers allegedly targeted his vehicle. His caretaker and driver, Firdos Ibrahim Baloch, sustained a bullet injury near his left wrist and a fracture in the ring finger of his right hand.

Following the firing, Tiger reportedly took control of the vehicle and drove Baloch to Santacruz Police Station. The injured driver was subsequently admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Santacruz West.

Police are investigating the incident and working to identify and apprehend the alleged assailants.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde later visited Tiger at his residence to enquire about his well-being. Photographs from the meeting showed the actor seated beside Shinde, with a dressing on his chest and a bandage around his left arm.

Shinde had earlier condemned the incident, describing it as deeply concerning and assuring that those responsible would face strict action.

“Our current priority is to keep Mumbai and its citizens safe. Whether it is a celebrity or an ordinary citizen, ensuring their safety is the responsibility of both the police and the government. There will be no laxity in this regard, and no gang, whoever they may be, will be spared,” Shinde said while speaking to the media.

Tiger Shroff is reported to be safe, while his driver continues to receive medical attention for the injuries sustained in the firing.
