Sharad Kelkar Receives Musical Birthday Surprise From Daughter Kesha With ‘My Favorite Guy’

Kelkar, who celebrated his birthday on October 7, was gifted the track featuring Kesha’s own vocals, making the gesture a personal tribute to their father-daughter bond.

The actor shared the poster of *My Favorite Guy* on his official Instagram account. The artwork features Sharad embracing Kesha and kissing her on the forehead.

Expressing his happiness over the gesture, Kelkar described the song as the best gift he could have received and shared his love for his daughter in the accompanying post.

On the professional front, Kelkar will next be seen in the upcoming rural horror film *Kaali Kheti*, which also stars veteran actor Jackie Shroff and Neha Sargam in significant roles.

The makers recently announced that the film will arrive in cinemas on October 23.

Written and directed by Haris Imtiyaz Khan, *Kaali Kheti* is produced by Sana Khan under the banner of BlackCanvas Studio. Set against a rural backdrop, the film explores how family, legacy and buried truths come together to create an unsettling tale of horror.

Speaking about the project, Khan said the film examines agriculture through the lens of horror, describing the concept as fresh, exciting and deeply disturbing.

The director added that the film reflects society through a frightening, fantastical world, where events may seem unfamiliar yet remain strangely recognisable.
