Shreya Ghoshal Reunites With Sonu Nigam for ‘Tujh Mein Basi Meri Jaan’

Calling the song a celebration of love and companionship, Shreya said its warmth and romantic mood made it a memorable project.

“‘Tujh Mein Basi Meri Jaan’ is a beautiful celebration of love, companionship, and those little moments that make a relationship special. It has such a warm and romantic soul, and I loved bringing that emotion alive through my voice. Singing alongside Sonu ji always brings a special musical feeling, and this song was no different,” she said.

The singer added that watching Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s chemistry, particularly during the wedding sequences, made the song even more meaningful. She hoped listeners would feel the same warmth and happiness while listening to the track.

Sonu Nigam also described the song as a tribute to love in its simplest form and welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with Shreya again.

He praised her voice for bringing sensitivity to the melody, adding that the singers had tried to create something heartfelt and timeless. He also said the on-screen chemistry between Rajkummar and Wamiqa complemented the song’s emotional tone.
