The makers of director Rohith KP’s upcoming pan-Indian action drama *Sambarala Yeti Gattu*, starring Sai Durgha Tej, have announced that the film’s shoot is complete.
The production house, Primeshow Entertainment, marked the occasion by releasing a behind-the-scenes video capturing the scale of the production, action sequences and camaraderie among the cast and crew.
The film was shot over **160 days across 10 schedules**, reflecting the scale of what is being described as one of Sai Durgha Tej’s most ambitious projects.
The announcement comes days after the makers unveiled the actor’s character, Bali, as part of his birthday celebrations. A poster released on the occasion showed Sai Durgha Tej wielding a sword and shield, standing in front of what appeared to be a goods train.
Primeshow Entertainment had earlier wished the actor on social media, describing his character as “the hunter, the warrior, the beast” and teasing a new dimension to his on-screen persona. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on **January 12, 2027**, coinciding with the Sankranthi festive season.
Post-production work is already underway. Last month, the makers announced that dubbing had begun with a traditional pooja ceremony, shared a video from the event, and confirmed that work was progressing toward the planned release.
The production had also completed a Mumbai schedule in June. Reports at the time suggested that a prominent Bollywood actor was involved in the schedule, although the makers have not officially confirmed further details about the role.
Produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under the Primeshow Entertainment banner, the film reportedly has a budget of around ₹125 crore, making it the biggest project of Sai Durgha Tej’s career to date.
The film’s action sequences have been a major focus of the production. National Award-winning stunt choreographer Peter Hein choreographed a major action sequence shot in September last year. Reports have also suggested that a Bollywood star will play the antagonist, while extensive computer-generated imagery is being developed to enhance the film’s visual scale. The makers have yet to officially confirm these details.
Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead, with Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Saikumar, Ananya Nagalla and Ravi Krishna among the other cast members.
Sai Durgha Tej has reportedly spent nearly two years preparing for the project, which is expected to feature him in an emotionally demanding and physically intense role.
The film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Its technical team includes cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy, composer Ajaneesh Loknath, editor Naveen Vijaya Krishna and costume designer Ayesha Mariam.
