Sharvari: Bollywood songs, dance are a big part of why I wanted to become an actor

"Bollywood songs and dance are actually a big part of why I wanted to become an actor," stated Sharvari, who is getting ready for the release of "Yeh Prem Mol Liya."

I grew up watching Madhuri ma'am in Didi Tera Devar Deewana, Karisma ma'am in Maiyya Yashoda, and Sonali ma'am in Maiyya Yashoda. When I got home, I would dance to these songs and pretend that one day I would be that on-screen heroine.

According to the actress, romance has always been her favourite and she attributes her love for Bollywood to these experiences

She remarked, "I think somewhere, those moments made me fall in love with the idea of Bollywood."

"I've always admired the romance, passion, and surreal magic of traditional Bollywood songs, the way a song and dance could convey a whole narrative.

It feels quite great to be able to experience that with Yeh Prem Mol Liya by Sooraj Barjatya Ji.

"It feels like a beautiful full-circle moment, getting to live the kind of Bollywood I grew up watching and dreaming about," Sharvari continued. I’m genuinely enjoying every moment of it.”

Yeh Prem Mol Liya's title tune, which was just released, offered a glimpse into the world of the movie. However, details related to the movie are still under wraps.

According to rumours, the plot centres on a friendship that progressively turns into passion. It is fundamentally a conflict between the warmth and traditional ideals of a combined family and modern conceptions of love.

Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa, and Saumya Tandon are also featured in the movie. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, 'Yeh Prem Mol Liya' is scheduled to release in theatres on November 27, 2026.
