Rubina Dilaik applauds husband Abhinav Shukla for 'standing by the people you love'

Actress Rubina Dilaik marked husband Abhinav Shukla’s birthday with a heartfelt social media post, sharing unseen pictures and reflecting on the qualities she admires most about him.

Rubina took to Instagram on Monday and posted a series of personal photographs featuring Abhinav with his loved ones. Alongside the pictures, she praised him for being someone his family and friends can always rely on.

“Happy Birthday to the man I’ve shared so much of life with. I deeply respect the way you love and honour your parents, care for everyone around you, and are the person your friends can always count on,” Rubina wrote.

She went on to highlight what she considers one of Abhinav’s strongest qualities, his instinct to protect the people closest to him.

“But what touches me most is your instinct to protect your family and stand by the people you love,” she added.

Looking back at their journey together, Rubina acknowledged that their relationship has included both happy memories and difficult phases, but said she continues to hold deep respect and warmth for him.

“We’ve shared our beautiful moments, our difficult ones, and so much in between. Through it all, there is a deep respect and warmth I will always carry for you. Here’s to you, to your heart, your loyalty, and the family you hold so close,” she wrote.

Abhinav responded to the birthday tribute with two red heart emojis.

Rubina and Abhinav got married on June 21, 2018, in an intimate ceremony at Woodville Palace in Shimla. The couple became parents to twin daughters, Jeeva and Edhaa, in 2023.

On the professional front, Rubina is currently participating in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.

Her journey on the show has included several challenging moments. One particularly emotional episode saw the Shakti actress break down after completing a height-based stunt.

Rubina reflected on how motherhood can require women to rebuild not only their physical strength but also their confidence, making the moment particularly personal for her.
