Ranbir Kapoor celebrates his 44th birthday with paparazzi outside his house

Ranbir Kapoor stepped out in a grey full-sleeve shirt and matching trousers, completing his look with Wayfarer sunglasses.

He joined the photographers for the birthday celebrations and cut a cake bearing the number 44 before posing for pictures.

Ranbir went on to cut three cakes during the celebration and later thanked the paparazzi with folded hands before heading back inside.

Earlier in the day, the actor celebrated with his Love & War team at a birthday dinner attended by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

Bhansali Productions shared a photograph from the gathering on its official social media account, showing Ranbir, Alia, Vicky and Bhansali smiling together. The production house marked the occasion with the message, “Today, there’s only Love, no War! Happy birthday Ranbir!”

The post also confirmed the film’s theatrical release date as January 21, 2027.

Ranbir’s birthday celebrations come shortly after the release of his first-look poster from Love & War. Unveiled on September 24, the poster featured the actor in a rugged avatar, with a blood-stained sleeve and what appeared to be a bullet mark on his shirt.

The upcoming film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, stars Ranbir alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal and is described as a love triangle set against a period backdrop. It is scheduled to hit theatres on January 21, 2027.

Meanwhile, Ranbir also received a heartfelt birthday wish from his mother, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor.

Neetu shared a selfie with her son on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Happy happy to you Rana you are mine and I feel blessed,” expressing her affection and gratitude on his special day.

For Ranbir, the celebrations brought together his family, close friends and the team behind his upcoming film as he stepped into his 44th year.
