Kareena Kapoor Wishes Niece Inaaya on Her Birthday With Throwback Photos

Kareena took to social media to mark Inaaya’s special day, describing her as a “beautiful princess” and sending her wishes for what she hoped would be the “coolest dance party” ever.

“Happy birthday Inaaya, you beautiful princess. We love you... Have the best day and the coolest dance party ever today,” Kareena wrote in the caption.

The first photograph in the carousel features a young Taimur Ali Khan standing beside Inaaya. Dressed in a pink sweater, black leggings, pink boots and a tiara, Inaaya appears to be looking away from the camera, while Taimur is captured in an emotional moment that appears to show him crying or throwing a tantrum.

Kareena then took her followers back in time with a collage of older photographs featuring Inaaya and her children. Heart emojis have been placed over the faces of some of the children in the pictures.

The final image features veteran actress Sharmila Tagore with young Taimur and Inaaya. The two children can be seen planting kisses on their grandmother’s cheeks, capturing a sweet moment between the family members.

Inaaya is the daughter of Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu and shares a close relationship with her cousins Taimur and Jehangir Ali Khan. The Pataudi family has frequently been seen celebrating birthdays and other special occasions together.

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in *Daayra*, which released in theatres on September 18. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the crime thriller stars Kareena alongside Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, with the two portraying police officers on opposing sides of a controversial case.

Inspired by true events, the film explores crime, justice and the complicated boundaries between the two. *Daayra* also marked Kareena and Prithviraj’s first collaboration on the big screen.
