Kareena Kapoor Wishes Bua Rima Jain on Her 70th Birthday: ‘You Make Our Lives So Much Happier’

Rima Jain, the youngest daughter of legendary filmmaker and actor Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, turned 70 on September 28.

Kareena shared a video montage featuring Rima across several personal moments, including pictures with Kareena and her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan.

Alongside the montage, Kareena wrote, “Happy birthday to our Rima Aunty, love you too much... you make our lives so much more happier and hungrier.”

One of the pictures showed Saif standing behind Rima as she sat on a mobility scooter, while another captured Rima enjoying time with Kareena during a trip abroad.

Kareena’s close friend Amrita Arora also joined the birthday celebrations, sharing a picture of Rima on Instagram with a simple birthday message for her.

Rima’s niece Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also marked the occasion with a special post.

Sharing a picture, she wished her aunt a happy 70th birthday and affectionately called her the “coolest buaaaaaa”, while jokingly wishing her plenty of winning hands at Mahjong.

Rima Jain was born Rima Kapoor and is the youngest daughter of Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor. She is the sister of Randhir Kapoor, the late Rishi Kapoor and the late Rajiv Kapoor.

She is also the aunt of Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, making her an important part of one of Bollywood’s most prominent film families.

Rima is married to businessman and investment banker Manoj Jain. The couple have two sons, actors Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain.

As members of the Kapoor family came together virtually to celebrate her milestone birthday, the social media tributes offered a glimpse into the close-knit bond Rima shares with the younger generation of the family.
