Kanika Mann Says Family Considers Her ‘Zero’ Until She Has Children

Actress Kanika Mann has opened up about the pressure she faces from her family to have children, revealing that they seem to tie her worth to becoming a mother.

During a conversation with actor Aasif Khan on *Bigg Boss 20*, Mann shared the family’s expectations in a candid and humorous exchange.

“My family members count me as zero. Until I give them two or three kids. Till then I am zero,” the actress said, describing how her relatives view her until she has children.

Reacting to her revelation, Aasif shared that his mother has also repeatedly urged him to get married and become a father. He explained that while she previously expressed her wishes directly, she now drops hints in amusing ways, often overlooking his professional achievements in favour of asking when he will have children.

Recalling one such incident, Aasif said he and his family had booked Umrah tickets. Excited about the trip, he called out to his mother and announced he had good news. She immediately assumed he was about to tell her that he would become a father.

“When I told her we were going to Umrah, she sat down again and said she thought I was going to give her good news on the third day,” he recalled.

Aasif said he reminded his mother that there were many things in life to celebrate besides having children.

He also recounted a more recent conversation with her before entering *Bigg Boss*. When he again announced that he had good news, his mother assumed he was finally going to make her a grandmother. Instead, he told her that he was going to participate in the reality show.

Kanika Mann is best known for playing the titular character in the television series *Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega*. She has also participated in *Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12* and appeared in shows such as *Chand Jalne Laga* and *Naagin 7*. Her film credits include Punjabi productions such as *Rocky Mental* and *Daana Paani*.

Aasif Khan has established himself in the digital entertainment space through performances in popular series including *Mirzapur*, *Panchayat*, *Paatal Lok* and *Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega*. He is particularly recognised for playing Babar in *Mirzapur* and Ganesh in *Panchayat*.
