Big B on son Abhishek Bachchan: Father-son may have different views, but destination is same

Amitabh shared the thoughts on his personal blog, where he wrote about the bond between a father and son and the importance of respecting differences in perspective.

“Pita putra dono rahe, ek manch par baithai; vichar alag alag ho chaahe, manzil ke hi aithe,” he wrote, conveying that while a father and son may have different thoughts and opinions, they ultimately move towards the same destination.

The veteran actor went on to express his respect for the younger generation, saying that despite differences in viewpoints, the goal should remain common and beneficial to everyone.

He also reflected on the importance of learning from one another, writing about seeking, discovering and understanding different perspectives while working towards a shared destination.

Amitabh's reflections come as he continues to remain active on both television and the big screen.

The actor is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Hindi adaptation of the internationally popular quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

The long-running game show features contestants answering multiple-choice questions, with four options provided for each question. Contestants can also use lifelines when they are unsure about an answer.

On the film front, Amitabh was last seen in T.J. Gnanavel's Vettaiyan. He is now working on the sequel to Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD, which also features Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in Raja Shivaji, directed by Riteish Deshmukh. The historical film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire.

The film features Deshmukh in the titular role, alongside Genelia D'Souza, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi and Amole Gupte.
