PM Modi, Rajnath Singh and Others Extend Birthday Wishes to Gajendra Shekhawat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended birthday greetings to Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat praising his work to promote India's cultural heritage and expand the country's tourism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended birthday greetings to Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat praising his work to promote India's cultural heritage and expand the country's tourism.
Shekhawat, who represents Jodhpur in the Lok Sabha, was born in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on October 3, 1967. He has served as the Union Minister for Culture and Tourism since June 2024.
In a message on X, Modi wished Shekhawat a long and healthy life and highlighted his efforts to make Indian culture more widely known while contributing to the growth of tourism.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also conveyed his birthday wishes to Shekhawat, extending prayers for his health, happiness and longevity.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh similarly greeted Shekhawat and praised his efforts to promote India's cultural heritage and strengthen the tourism sector. Singh wished him continued health and a long life in public service.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also extended his greetings to the Jodhpur MP, wishing him good health and a long life.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined the leaders sending birthday wishes to Shekhawat. In his message, Yogi wished the Union minister a healthy, long and successful life and expressed hope that he would continue contributing to public service and national development.
Shekhawat has represented the Jodhpur constituency in the Lok Sabha since 2014. His current responsibilities at the Centre include both the Culture and Tourism portfolios.
The birthday greetings came from several senior political leaders on Saturday as Shekhawat turned 59.
