The man who died after falling from the 43rd floor of the Supernova Spira Tower in Noida has been identified as 29-year-old Sambhav Jain, a resident of Manesar in Haryana's Gurugram district, police said on Friday.

The man who died after falling from the 43rd floor of the Supernova Spira Tower in Noida has been identified as 29-year-old Sambhav Jain, a resident of Manesar in Haryana's Gurugram district, police said on Friday.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida Zone) Manisha Singh said police received information at around 11:30 a.m. about a person falling from the balcony of a room at the Supernova Spira Tower in Sector 94, which falls under the jurisdiction of Sector 126 police station.

Police personnel reached the spot shortly after receiving the information and identified the deceased as Jain. His family has been informed about the incident, Singh said.

Investigators are examining evidence collected from the site, while the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Police said further investigation is underway.

According to preliminary information, the impact of the fall was severe. A loud sound was reportedly heard within the complex following the incident.

Police are also examining reports that Jain had been staying at an Airbnb property inside the Supernova complex.

A video purportedly showing the incident has circulated on social media. Police have not released any official information about the circumstances that led to Jain's death.

Some media reports, citing an air-conditioning mechanic who was reportedly present at the scene, claimed that Jain had mentioned being depressed while allegedly attempting to stop him from jumping. Police have not independently confirmed this account, and the reported reason for the incident remains under investigation.

The incident comes weeks after another suicide case was reported in Greater Noida, where a first-year MCA student was found dead in his room in Sector Alpha-2. The student had reportedly moved to Noida about a month earlier and was pursuing his course through online classes.
