In a separate incident, police in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri arrested a man accused of involvement in a vehicle robbery following an encounter on Ghiror Road, within the jurisdiction of the Kurawali police station.
The accused, identified as Abhimanyu, also known as Raja or Honey, sustained a bullet injury to his leg during retaliatory firing. He was subsequently arrested and taken to a hospital for treatment. His alleged accomplices, Chhotu and Dhruv, escaped and remain at large.
According to police, the accused and his associates had hired a four-wheeler from Auraiya district.
