Mercedes-Benz India recorded its strongest-ever quarterly performance in Q3 2026, retailing 5,422 units, up 6 per cent from the 5,119 units sold in the same quarter last year. Quarterly sales also rose 17 per cent compared with Q2 2026.
The luxury carmaker recorded its highest-ever January-September sales of 15,190 units, up around 8 per cent from the 14,132 units sold during the corresponding period in 2025.
The company attributed the performance to strong demand across its Top-End luxury portfolio, including the S-Class, Mercedes-Maybach models, EQS Maybach SUV, G-Class, V-Class and AMG range.
Sales of Top-End vehicles increased by more than 13 per cent year-on-year and accounted for over 25 per cent of Mercedes-Benz India's overall sales. The company's MANUFAKTUR personalisation programme contributed to nearly 75 per cent of sales within this segment.
Mercedes-AMG deliveries grew by more than 18 per cent, while the AMG G 63 recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in India, the company said.
Mercedes-Benz India is also preparing to introduce new products in the coming months. Deliveries of the new Electrified S-Class are scheduled to begin from mid-October, while the new GLC BEV is set to make its India debut on November 4, 2026.
Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Santosh Iyer said the company had continued its growth momentum in the Indian market, with record quarterly and January-September sales supported by its focus on customer value, product offerings and experience.
Iyer said the company had recorded its best quarterly sales in each quarter of calendar year 2026, attributing the performance to its product portfolio, brand positioning, new powertrain technologies and focus on customer experience.
He added that anticipation around the upcoming GLC BEV was already building in the market, while deliveries of the Electrified S-Class would further strengthen the company's luxury portfolio.
