Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin will begin a two-day organisational visit to Gorakhpur on Wednesday, leading the party’s ‘Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao’ march and holding party meetings.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary are also scheduled to participate in the march, which the party has described as a public outreach campaign.

Nabin is expected to reach Gorakhpur on Wednesday morning. According to the programme shared by the BJP National President’s Office on X, the padyatra will begin at 12.10 pm from Maharana Pratap Inter College and conclude at Mata Kali Temple, near the Sardar Patel statue.

Following the march, Nabin will meet members of the intellectual community at Annexy Bhawan in Taramandal at 3.30 pm. A separate meeting with public representatives is scheduled at the same venue at 5 pm.

Meetings with Party Leaders on Second Day

On Thursday, the BJP president will offer prayers at Baba Gorakhnath Temple before holding meetings with former party office-bearers.

The discussions will include former state and regional office-bearers from the past three terms, former district in-charges and former district presidents.

Nabin is also scheduled to interact with former public representatives, including former Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members, former MLAs and Legislative Council members, as well as former Zila Panchayat, Nagar Palika and Nagar Panchayat presidents.

A detailed meeting with the party’s current state-level organisational leadership is also on the agenda. Participants are expected to include the state president, state and regional office-bearers and other senior functionaries.

The discussions will focus on preparing a roadmap for upcoming organisational campaigns and finalising the party’s electoral strategy ahead of the Assembly elections.

BJP's Campaign Against INDIA Bloc Protests

Nabin has previously led the ‘Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao’ campaign in Delhi, Haryana, Bihar and West Bengal.

The BJP launched the campaign in response to protests by the INDIA bloc against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of electoral irregularities.
