Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Nabin is scheduled to begin a three-day visit to Jharkhand on Friday, focusing on organisational restructuring, coordination among state leaders, and the party's strategy.
Nabin is expected to arrive at Ranchi airport at around 7 p.m. His visit will mark his second trip to the state since taking charge as the BJP's national president.
On October 24, Nabin is scheduled to attend the inaugural session of the Jharkhand BJP's state working committee meeting. He is expected to address party office-bearers and workers, outline organisational priorities, and discuss the party's future direction in the state.
The Jharkhand BJP has completed preparations to welcome the national president, with party workers planning a reception featuring traditional rituals, drums and floral showers.
**Organisational Restructuring and Electoral Strategy on Agenda**
The visit comes following recent appointments to key organisational positions within the Jharkhand BJP, including the state in-charge and the general secretary responsible for organisational affairs. Nabin's meetings with state leaders are expected to focus on strengthening coordination and defining priorities for the party's political activities.
The proposed by-election to the Giridih Assembly seat is also expected to figure in discussions, alongside grassroots mobilisation and preparations for the 2029 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
The meetings are expected to provide an opportunity for the national leadership and the state unit to review organisational preparedness and coordinate their approach to upcoming political challenges.
Ahead of Nabin's arrival, Jharkhand BJP President Aditya Sahu held a meeting with state office-bearers at the party headquarters on Thursday to review arrangements for the visit.
State BJP General Secretary Amar Kumar Bauri said party workers were enthusiastic about welcoming the national president.
**Previous Organisational Visit in June**
Nabin had earlier visited Jharkhand on June 6 and 7 for a two-day organisational programme. During that visit, he participated in meetings with elected representatives, party office-bearers, intellectuals and grassroots workers.
He also chaired a meeting with BJP MPs and MLAs at the state party office, followed by a strategic discussion with members of the state core committee.
The upcoming visit is expected to build on those organisational interactions, with the party focusing on internal coordination, strengthening its state-level structure and preparing for future electoral contests.
